Lux Interior

i have started experimenting with a medium format camera and 4x5 inch negatives. the following are identical images scanned emulsion side up and emulsion side down i photo shopped the images by using one as a background and the other as a layer, the effect is somewhat surrealist with the images looking as if the two forms are merging or being reflected off a mirror, i was inspired by Edouard Manet's Olympia and Luncheon on the grass. I decided to call these these two dyptichs Lux Interior because of the vaginal forms that arose from putting them back to back but i am still working on individual titles
